 4-H & FFA  RABBITS

4-H Rabbit entry:  Sunday, 4-6pm

Open class will enter on Monday- see open class rules.

4-H RABBIT SHOWMANSHIP:  MONDAY, 8:30am

4-H Rabbit breed judging: after all showmanship classes

Cloverbud evaluation will be part of the 4-H rabbit show.

 

In addition to the following details, refer to General Small Animal Guidelines, Project Records, and Auction Rules for related information and requirements. When completing fair entry registration, select both section number and class number. Best of Breed rosettes will be awarded to all breeds exhibited, and trophies will be awarded only to those breeds that have at least four entries. Breeds that have at least eight entries will receive a Best of Breed trophy and a Best Opposite trophy.

SECTION 10 - OTHER 4 - CLASS BREEDS  - (PEDIGREED)- any breed with at least four entries will be judged separately

SECTION 11 – MIXED BREED  - (Limited to first year members, and does not include full-bred rabbits with disqualifications)

901   Senior Buck (over 6/8 months depending on breed)                     902   Senior Doe (over 6/8 months depending on breed)

903   Intermediate Buck (6-8 months) for 6-class breeds only             904   Intermediate Doe (6-8 months) for 6-class breeds only

905  Junior Buck (under 6 months on show day)                                    906   Junior Doe (under 6 months on show day)

 

Refer to American Rabbit Breeder's Association Standard of Perfection for more information on which breeds are 4-class and which are 6-class. Pre-juniors under 3 months are not allowed except in Market Rabbit class.

SECTION 18 - MARKET RABBITS

Class - 967  Pen of three Market Rabbits. (3 1/2 to 5 lbs., not over 10 weeks old). Pen of market rabbits may consist of either sex or combination of sexes, and uniform in color and size.
